Other information

Repeating awards

You can do any award any number of times.

For a subsequent DTM - you do not need to do all other awards again, only ACG and AL.

For a subsequent ACB, ACS, ACG, ALB or ALS - you do not have to re-do the precedent award requirement/s. (A precedent award requirement is one where 'achieved' is the first word of the requirement.)
As an example: to do a subsequent ACB you do not need to do another CC, because your first CC counts as the 'achieved Competent Communicator award' requirement for all subsequent ACBs.

For any subsequent award except DTM - all requirements not relating to precedent awards have to be done anew.
As an example: to do a subsequent ALB you need to have served a different six months as a club officer.

Clubs receive credit for only one type of educational award per member per year in the Distinguished Club Programme. (Although of course you will receive credit personally for all awards you have achieved.)
As an example: if you complete two ACBs in the same Toastmasters year the second ACB cannot be credited to the same club in that year, although if you are also a member of another club they could receive credit for it.

Old Competent Leader award
As from 1st July 2008 this is no longer awarded.

Application deadline
For clubs to receive award credits in a particular Toastmasters year the applications must be received at World Headquarters by 30th June. From 2009, World Headquarters will no longer 'backdate' credits for postal applications received in July that were postmarked 30th June or earlier.
